This exhibition, featuring over 100 artworks – paintings, photographs, performances, textiles, sculptural installations and new media, by around 70 artists from Wales, England, India and Pakistan ‘delves into the deep-rooted connections between the Indian Subcontinent and Wales’.

1911 'At Mess' Indian Camp at Hampton Court
‘The Indian Army Camps at Hampton Court Palace’
This exhibition of objects, photographs, film and personal stories covers the ‘fascinating but forgotten’ story of the soldiers from the Indian Army who were invited to join the coronation celebrations of Edward VII (1902), George V (1911) and George VI (1937), as well as the WW1 peace parades in 1919.

‘Sepoys in the Great Hall’, ‘Chai with the Princess’, ‘Sepoys and the Spanish Flu’
Written and directed by Pravesh Kumar, MBE, with Ameet Chana, this series of 3 x 15-minute costumed performances, based on the exhibition, will be performed twice daily by Rifco Theatre Company (a British South Asian theatre company).

An evening of ‘carols, readings and musical performances from the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas’ organised by the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
Proceeds will go towards the support of Gurkha veterans, their families and communities in Nepal.
