BACSA seeks new secretary

BACSA has been looking for nigh on two years for a new secretary to succeed the present post holder next March. BACSA’s President Sir Mark Havelock-Allan and Chairman Paul Dean appealed last September to members to volunteer for the post. Addressing members at the association’s general meeting on 19 October, Sir Mark and Paul Dean said the membership’s silence over a successor presented a major threat to the association. Sir Mark appealed to members to consider whether they or someone else might fill the position, otherwise members would be faced with a serious decision next Spring. Failure to identify a new secretary would hang a question mark over BACSA’s future.
