Mrs Patricia Redwood standing behind the grave of her great-grandfather James Heywood, a cotton mill engineer from the Bolton area of Lancashire, who went to Pondicherry in the early 1900s to work for Anglo-French Textiles Ltd (founded 1898). The grave is in the British cemetery opposite the French cemetery in Ambedkar Marg, Pondicherry. Photo taken November 2014.
